Midnight at the Chosen Hotel

From days to Wednesday, from months to march, and from years to 2021. We were going to promote to the hotel with our agency for the spring magazine as we do every year. Of course, we weren’t asked about the choice of the hotel we were going to promote. But this time I didn’t want to promote modern and featureless hotels like every year. It all adventure started with my visit to the historical hotel that I chose without getting permission from my agency.

Was aware of what my choice might cause me to lose in the future, but I was happy that I chose a place where I could really culture instead of those boring hotels. I was very excited about everything I would see and with the first breath I took, I set out to tour the hotel. As soon as I entered the hotel, all my bad feelings disappeared and I started to feel proud of myself. With the invitation of a kind gentleman who hosted me, we went to the restaurant part of the hotel, which has an important history. The area we visited was so fascinating and perfect that I started to question other hotels. Every place we visited and stepped on had a different memory and history. Everything I heard and learned left me in shock. I was starting to judge all the history lessons we’ve seen so far. After all I’ve seen, it has brought me to a very important place. Room 105. He said that one of the most powerful women in history, Maladict, was staying in this room. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I needed a lot more time to study and explore this room. Of course, there was nothing that a few sweet words couldn’t fix. After my persuasive efforts, I was only allowed to stay in this room for one day. I couldn’t even imagine. This historical room would also be my name. After getting the key and my necessities, I settled into the room. It was late, I had to go to bed now. I fell asleep as I lay my head on my pillow. My dreams were interrupted. I had at least ten dreams that night, and at the end of all of them, I was falling from somewhere. When I woke up I was shocked by what I saw. How could it have snowed 60 centimetres in March? When I looked out of the window, the sight I saw was much more creepy, all the women were wearing tastan and everyone was wearing tight hats. There were warships on the sea and a lot of Italians on the roads. When I went downstairs trying to figure out what was going on, everyone was accompanying me to the celebratory dinner for the new deal at the restaurant. The moment I walked in, the silence and strange looks tensed the atmosphere. Everyone was staring at my clothes and my hair. A man came and immediately grabbed my arm and dragged me out of the dining room. At first, I thought I was dreaming, but what I saw and felt didn’t seem like a dream at all. Turns out my mind was playing tricks on me. I mean, at least I thought so. We started walking around with the man I met as if nothing had happened and all this was normal. As far as I understand, I was teleported to a past time in my dream with this state. I was critically explaining the information I learned in my history class to the man, but the man was just laughing at me. After a while, I started to get on my nerves and asked why he was laughing. The man told me that I made up beautiful stories and that I had a great imagination. but I couldn’t understand. Everything I told was what we were taught and passed on. After the man said that I have a good imagination, I wanted to listen to him. What the man told us were things that had nothing to do with what we were told. I didn’t know how to respond. I assumed it was all a dream and decided to just have fun. He said he would take me to his place after he had visited everywhere. He said it was great fun and that I would never regret coming. We set off towards the venue in the evening. The day went by so fast that I didn’t realize how much fun I was actually having. We had such a good time in his meakna. but there was something not right. It was not normal for a dream to last this long. It was getting late and I realized that I had to go back to the hotel. Just as I was leaving, he asked me “Can I see you again?” he asked. My answer was most likely definite but undecided “we are people of different times” I said although he laughed but unfortunately I was right…

When I got back to the hotel, I realized how tired I was during the day. I slept like I did, and when I woke up, there was neither snow nor people with dense and beautiful hats. I knew it wasn’t true, but I wanted to believe it a little bit. The gentleman who welcomed me at the beginning when I checked out of the hotel said, “I hope you had fun on your journey. Now he said have a nice trip to you again. Maybe this was not a mind game, it was a place to learn the facts. At the end of the day, I did not regret what I did at all because I was sure that my introduction would be in the most visible place in the magazine.
