Words and truths are easy to manipulated. When there is a crime there is two kinds of people: a lawyer and a detective. It seems easy right lawyers take what they need but detectives take everything therefore the truth.
A lawyer someone who gets paid to manipulate the truth, right? Let me change the perspective a little. Who would know what a manipulative criminal would do better than someone who was trained to manipulate things? I know you’re thinking it doesn’t matter naked truth is the best truth. Simple. Although what is the definition of best truth? Let’ say there is a crime. There was a murder. Person X was walking down the street when person Y stopped them. Person Y got aggressive and pulled out a weapon. Person X got scared after calling for help and getting no response they got the weapon from person Y and murdered them. For a detective it simple X is guilty. They are a murderer. The word gets out and goes to the press. Even if judges don’t find them guilty this ruined their psychology, social status and even career. But things change for the lawyer. Now they’ll “manipulate” the truth. Person X refused to talk without an attorney. So their word couldn’t be twisted or go to the press. And the story they’ll present is easy it was just an act of protection. It is not the naked the truth but it is a truth. In my opinion it is the best truth because person X got out of this mess with as least damage as it could be.
Long story short I think truths, therefore people, can be manipulated easily. The twist is the thing you do it for and how you do it.
