I live in a world that fairies, mermaids, witches and normal people live. Being in a world like that makes me feel uncomfortable. As you can understand I am a normal person. Living in a world with these special creatures and if you are a human, you will understand my feelings.
I am (not surpisingly) going to a school. But in the school we are being seperated by our “Names”. As like I have my lessons with human classmates and with a human teacher. Like us the other groups (fairies, mermaids and withces) have the same system. This also makes me sad because I do not like being a human. It feels like we are so weak, and yes I am so weak compared to them. While they are learning how to do magic, how to fly; we are learning maths, geography, biology… And the “Magical creatures” look down to us which makes us really angry. Also they are flying inside the school! This is not fair at all!
We are not allowed to be friends with the “Magical creatures” but I had a friendship with a fairy. She was so nice to me and she is also curious about what is human beings, how different we are. We continued our friendship for one and a half years, but suddenly she said “I can’t be friends with humans that is a weak creature compared to us, so please do not talk to me again or I will tell the principal and you will be grounded.” what kind of dialog is this! How can she talk to me like that?
I was very very upset with this situation. I cried a lot because of feeling weak. My mum tried to calm me down but I could not. I didn’t know why but a feeling come and then I said “I wish I could do magic.” and suddenly I heard a sound said “Wish accepted.” I was like “What the heck is going on? Mum!” I told what just happened. And she said “I am so glad that you made your wish. When you turn to 14, you can make a wish. But we are not allowed to say to you. If we do, we would go to jail and nothing good happens to us. You will be able to do magic after 24 hours.” I was shocked and so happy about it. Then the voice came back and said “Which type of creature you want to be?” and as you can guess I said “I want to be a fairy.” I was so happy about it because I will be able to take a revenge.
After a day I became a fairy, all of the humans were shocked, mostly my old fairy friend. I got into my new classroom and introduced myself to them. A girl fairy wanted to talk to me and she was so nice. We talked, talked, talked… At the same time my old friend was raging. The name of the girl I was talking to was Tatiana, and we became best friends.
As you can see, nothing is impossible if you want to do. But yes, I know that turning into a fairy can be a bit hard but do not lose your hope. Never ever. Promise?
