Last Decision

I can’t even remember that day without crying. I used to have a puppy named Moon. He was the sweetest dog ever in the whole world. He was my bestfriend. I remember the first day I saved him from the shelter.
It was a rainy day and I didn’t have an umbrella. There was a shelter and I just went there to get dry. But the moment I went inside I saw Moon for the first time. He was a bit skinny because they were not giving him enough food. I took him home immeaditely. We both got very wet under the rain. At first he was terrified by me. But after some time we bonded. Every morning he bringed me my slippers of course he would dribble all over them. After breakfast we would go for a walk at the park. Sometimes I would swing him on the swings. We would play games with the pigeons. He loved to chase them. But of course not every good thing lasts for ever. A few months earlier he was diognised with kidney failure. Doctors did every thing they could but they couldn’t heal him. A week earlier I understood I needed to put him down. Doctor Percey asked me if it was my last decision. I said “Yes, it is my last decision. Bye bye Moon.” in tears. I wish we could have more time together. I miss him every day. Rest in peace Moon.
