Kids and Our Country

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk said that: “Protecting the homeland begins with protecting the children.” This sentence really makes sense and I agree with it.

First of all, there are some conditions for a country to be developed, and the most important thing for me is to be advanced in science. In order for science to be developed, we need individuals who are open to innovation and well-educated. At the same time, suitable conditions are necessary for these people to work and unfortunately Turkey does not attach much importance to science these days. For example, Turkish people found the COVID-19’s vaccine, but the vaccine was found in Germany, because conditions were not good enough in our country. Also, the government should pay more attention to this issue. The part of this with children starts in education. If children today can get good education, they can be successful people in the future. So, the country can develop in every topic. However, if the children do not have enough knowledge, the country cannot progress in any topic in the future. That’s why we need to protect our children and give them the necessary education.

I made these deductions from the words of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and I believe that if children are protected and valued, the country will change in the positive way.
