Just Do It

A lot of people nowadays think that they can change anything negative while being in their comfort zone but I know for a fact that it’s definitely not the case.

You need to move to really make a change. Just like you can’t complain about being overweight when all you do is to lay on your bed and watch videos on your phone, you can’t expect changes without work.

Discomfort is a part of our lives. school gets us stressed, doing sports burns our muscles, arguing with loved ones makes us sad… The reason for this is that we are meant to feel pain. Pain makes us stronger and gives us experience in life. It’s actually really similar to sports. You start boxing for example. You have no experience in it. You get hit all the time because you don’t even know how to avoid a punch. Even though you manage to hit your opponent, he doesn’t even flinch since you have no power. however, if you don’t give up and keep training you start to improve. Then all of a sudden, you’ve defeated your opponent.

7.1 percent of the human population, suffers from social anxiety. They can’t talk to strangers, express their feelings or make friends. This leads them to be unsuccessful in life. But, just because they have this disorder doesn’t mean that they can’t do anything about it. Lots of people like me have been able to overcome it. Yes, it was hard but, you have to accept the fact that you need to have hard times to improve yourself. You need to come out of your shell.

Just do it. What stops you? Is it, friends? Is it, family? Or, is it you? You have to understand that you are the one that is stopping you from achieving your dreams. You may experience bad things. You may feel down. Yet, it shouldn’t stop you. As a wise man once said, “Be a sad winner and not a sad loser.”
