Just a building or a Living Space?

Architecture comes in many meanings such as the art of buildings or computer systems that are organized and integrated but do we really know what an architect does as a part of his/her profession? Do they only design buildings or does what they’re doing have a huge impacts on our lives?

An architect is a person who plans, designs and reviews the construction of buildings. There are many types of architects such as landscape architects, industrial architects, software architects and solution architects.

People say that when you meet someone for the first time, the most important thing is first impression. This first impression is also crucial while choosing a house.

Even though people often see a house as a shelter and as one of the primary needs for survival, many others see it as a sign of lifestyle. Usually the style of the house you choose reflects your personality and it becomes more than just a house. If you are more into log houses, you are more likely to be introverted with a passion for the outdoors or if you are more into modern styled houses, you are an organized and analytical person.

Architecture is a great trigger to physical and psychological well being of the person. Furthermore, countless of studies proved that the architecture of the buildings have a huge impact on person’s health as most people spend 90% of their time indoors.

Architect is also a profession as being a doctor, police and soldier. Therefore, they have to earn money in order to continue living their lives and doing their jobs. Their main aim is to create, not only a building but a living space where the client can fulfill his or her needs and they need to build up a space which meets up with the client’s expectations as much as possible. Because the more they satisfy the clients, the more money they will earn.

As a conclusion, architects are creating things beyond simple and boring buildings, they are creating many different kinds of living spaces varying from one person to another according to their likes and needs.
