I think all of us have experienced and remember the Covid-19 pandemic back in 2020. There was close to no social interaction and you were able to attend school or your job meetings without leaving the comfort of your home.
Now it’s 2023 and everything has pretty much gone back to normal, and unsurprisingly most people want to go back to the kind of life style we had in 2020. Although I myself do not enjoy going to school everyday I really don’t support this idea. Yeah wearing a uniform all day is uncomfortable and yeah working sucks but let me ask you this do you remember a single thing you learned back in 2020 in online class? The downside of having control over everything is how lazy your mind can get, I myself have noticed how much my concentration levels change when I’m in a school environment and when I’m at home. Being in constant pressure is of course not good for the human mind but when pressure is completely gone laziness takes over. We are already seeing the after effects of online classes in the present day, most young kids who attended online classes back in 2020 have behavioral problems and struggle to finish homework at time.
In conclusion working from home is definitely nice but the after effects of having too much free will are also present.
