On a hot summer evening everything was going as usual. I walked on the beach for 2 hours and got some fresh air. Now all that was left was to find the last parts of this extraordinary time machine and replace them.
I slowly walked towards my bedroom, pulled one of my wooden drawers, which I thought had a few screws in them, towards me and looked inside. At first, I couldn’t find the important screws I was looking for, but within a few minutes I managed to find them in the plastic box inside the bottom drawer. When I took all the screws I found and walked down the stairs with great excitement, I saw my time machine shining brightly around me. Only small touches were needed to complete this colorful, magical machine. Before making these small touches, I took my backpack with me just in case and I was finally able to put all the screws in place. As I installed the screws, a very bright light erupted around me. I closed my eyes for a few seconds and when I decided to open my eyes to another world, I saw in front of me many items, vehicles, houses and many other items invented using advanced technology that could make me feel great excitement and surprise.
After looking around a bit, I checked if I had my backpack with me. Then I started to think to myself what these giant buildings were like. These buildings literally stretched into space, the tips of the buildings far exceeding the level of the clouds in the sky. Not only were there more than one skyscraper here, but the cars in this land were literally flying. The roads here were so strange… These roads wound around certain buildings, at the level of the lowest building heights. Thanks to these roads, people could drive their electric cars upside down. In this way, the image created here was extremely irregular and very eye-tiring.
As I started to move a little further in this different land with curiosity, different sounds started to come to my ears. When I did some research and found the source of these sounds, I was astonished. People here couldn’t see me because I was in the future, but if I encountered a dangerous situation, I was warned thanks to my time machine. When there was no emergency sound from my time machine, I headed towards the high-speed trains. People spent very little time here, even when traveling to the city that was the furthest away from them. For example, they were spending only 30 minutes on these trains to go to a place that was 10 hours away from where they are now.
A few hours later the machine started beeping. When it was time for me to go, I waited for a few seconds to return home. When I got home, I sat at my desk to write in my diary about this wonderful and extraordinary day I had experienced…
