In Place

When someone becomes an adult, they need to bear all of their responsibilities for the exchange of the freedom they have. Having your own house is a plus because you can do whatever you want without another person telling you when to go to bed. But if you don’t make great decisions like sleeping after 4 am for instance, you won’t be productive at work (or school) even if you drink 2 mugs of coffee in the morning (this would be the consequence of the wrong use of freedom).

I wouldn’t want something like this to happen because I want to make the BEST decision for MYSELF like everybody else. And to be able to achieve that I have to make an important decision in the early stages of adulthood. Which is determining where to live.

Lets imagine our main options first, those are being; A detached house with grasses around it and no one nearby, the closest town is 30 minutes with a car. The second option is a city with tall buildings, a bustling atmosphere and where most of the things you need are there with a 30-minute drive. That also has its own routine.

My career has a high impact on where I would like to live. I know I said the quiet place was 30 minutes close to a town but a town still has it’s boundries and It would cost a lot with the fuel and the house itself even though I can have the perfect time in front of the fireplace. So choosing to live in the city would be the best and easiest option for me because I grew up in a city which is the reason why I could see more of its positive sides and i would feel ‘’in place‘’ there.
