If You Had Chance?

Since all people grow up, they have to think of and decide their future profession. As a high-school student, I am currently trying to decide my future occupation. I largely think to be an entrepreneur by my success in engineering. In short, I want to be a successful engineer. At least for now.

I was planning to become a doctor with a high grade in primary school and the initial periods of secondary school. Then, in the last year of secondary school, I changed my mind sharply. I thought becoming an engineer was very suitable for me because of my attention to physics laws and creative design skills. After all, I told myself I would not change my decision. I motivated myself and started to read new, interesting articles about physics.

When I got to high school, my mind was basically confused with the options that I can give myself and work on. In my first year, I thought to be an investor or open an e-commerce entrepreneur. I am newly understanding that I was born to be an engineer, especially an automobile or aircraft engineer.

There are intelligible reasons which receded me to becoming a doctor. First of all, human biology does not interest me at all. I think biology, in general, requires memorizing and it becomes unbearable for me. Even though most people who prefer biology to physics think memorizing formulas is the same, it is not for a person who enjoys calculating, evaluating, and concluding when studying in the way of engineering. Also, on account of my interest in aerodynamics and mechanics, I wanted to work as a mechanical engineer such as automobiles, aircraft, or space.

Since the day I started watching Formula Series, I have been following the aerodynamics of the teams. I especially follow and search the aerodynamic system of Red Bull Racing because I admire an engineer named Adrian Newey who works as the chief of the aerodynamic team. He is known as the god of aerodynamics among the Formula 1 fan. Once, I looked at some of his previous designs and I said to myself that this must be my life. Because it is super enjoyable.

To sum up, I would prefer being a successful engineer to being a successful doctor. I am currently studying to become an engineer with a B plan. My A plan is my childhood dream, to be a basketball player. I hardly work through it and, really want it. I believe one day child Orkan’s dream will come true. However, if I have not promised to be a basketball player, I would definitely be an engineer.
