If I Were A Cloud

My name is White Cotton. I am a very big cloud, and I love children so much.

One day, my dad got sick, and I cried all day. When I cry too much, it means the whole city is under water. As I was crying, I heard a child’s laughter from below. Then I heard him say, “Stop, rain, stop! My father is very sick, and I have to take him to the doctor.”

When I heard about the child, I immediately stopped crying. I felt so sad and didn’t know what to do, so I went to talk to the Sun. I told the Sun everything. The Sun said, “We shouldn’t upset the children. I’m coming right away to dry everything.”

Hearing that, I felt so happy. The Sun came and dried up all the water. The children were so thankful. As the boy took his father to the doctor, he didn’t see any clouds in the sky. That’s because I, White Cotton, talked to all the other clouds and said, “Let’s not get in the way of their quiet journey.”

This is my little story. I hope you like it!
