İF I WERE A CLOUD

If I were a cloud, I would be a companion to the wind, floating freely in the sky. I would touch the peaks of mountains and provide shade to the valleys. I would surround the world like a white quilt, shining brightly under the sun, and sometimes I would become a gray curtain, heralding the rain. If I were a cloud, I would spread over the seas and keep pace with the rhythm of the waves. I would be a dream in a child’s eyes and an inspiration in a poet’s verses. Sometimes, I would turn into a small droplet to water a flower, and other times, I would roar as the harbinger of a great storm.

If I were a cloud, I would have no boundaries. I would move from country to country, cross mountains, and embrace oceans. Nothing would tie me down; my freedom would be to go wherever the wind takes me. But most of all, I would bring happiness to people’s faces. I would always be there — in a sky painted by the first light of morning, on a horizon reddened by the setting sun, or in a breathtaking sunset view.

If I were a cloud, I would not be just a piece of nature but also a silent storyteller of the endless cycle of the world.
