I Wish We Had No Internet

It was a regular weekend. I woke up at late morning and my mood was not so good at all since it was the last day of the weekend. I yawned and got out of my bed. I wanted to check the time. I opened my lockscreen and could not believe what I’ve seen.

There was a notification that ” Experts Warn : There will be an internet cut all around the world. Between 2 days to 7 days.” I laughed to myself, and mumbled:” These random sites are just so silly. How can the internet can be cut all around the world.” I naturally didn’t believed at this notification. I threw my phone at the sofa and started to make a breakfast. I made a super delicious omelette. However I am a desirous person not an omlette would satisfy me. I decided to make a pancake. I have never ever tried to make a pancake so I was going to look at internet. I opened my phone and clicked to the google icon. Then guess what happened? There was a big writing which was written with red ” EROR 724 :NO INTERNET CONNECTION”. I just paid my internet bills so there were no other explanations, the ”experts” were right. I wanted to make myself sure so I knocked my neighbors’ door. My neighbors were quite old so I really don’t know how to ask this. I started my sentence,” Hello Sir. Brown.”Sir Brown answered, ”What did you said little boy?”. Yeah, as i expected they are deaf and they probably don’t know what is internet. So I called my friend who is informatic expert. He answered and asked wheter am I the only one who cannot access to internet. His answer was no as i expected. I should have pay regard to the notification. But then I realised that I can live without the internet. I went outside because there were no point to wait for the internet. I went to a park and fed the dogs there. I didn’t realised that dogs were that much cute. I went to a cafe and ordered myself a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. I didn’t realised that these tastes were so tasty. I went to a mall and bought myself a shoe. I didn’t realised that a pair of shoe was overpriced. I went and hang around with my friends. I didn’t know that my friends were that much humorous.

It was a valuable day for me because I understood that everything was completely different. I couldn’t realise the dogs because of internet, I couldn’t realise the taste of the foods because I was focusing on my phone, I couldn’t understand the prices of the clothings because I was online shopping, I couldn’t recognise my friend’s humor because we were all looking at our phones. I wish we had all our lifetime without the internet…
