Honest at Life

Earthquakes might be very destructive, or they might be just a little shake. In both cases, we must be cautious, and the best way to do this is building strong buildings. Buildings that won’t be collapsed in a strong earthquake. This is not about education; this is about inspection. Since there is no inspection, almost every single building has the same destiny: destruction.

The importance of making people conscious is undeniable, but it is not sufficient alone. While people are living in concrete-made coffins which are waiting for someone or something to bury them, it is not very effective to make people conscious. The important thing is how strong the building is. We cannot know if it has qualified concrete, the contractor might have used some inappropriate substances like sea sand. They might not use enough steel while building the colons. The only way to prevent this is inspection.

There is still a problem in this situation. How can we be sure about inspectors’ trustworthiness? We can’t truly trust them, but if the education of inspectors, education of people, education of the country is high quality, we can probably trust. The government should have a part in here, after all they are the ones who control the system of education. They have the chance of raising patriot, honest, capable kids who are going to govern the country one day. They are going to be inspectors who will inspect for their country’s wealth and health. They are going to be judges who are going to deliver fair judgments. They are going to be mayors who will not declare zoning amnesty for weak buildings which can’t survive a catastrophic earthquake. They are going to be politicians who won’t steal from the commonwealth, who will take responsibility for what they have done. They are going to be people who are honest at their jobs and at their lives.

In conclusion, inspection is the only way to prevent destruction. We can make this real only by fixing the system of education. So, we can have honest people in our country.
