Having Animals at Apartment

Dear Apartment Residents,

My name is Erica Lex who is the owner of a Golden Retriever dog  called “Max”. I live in Apartment G.1 in the first floor. I am highly aware of the fact that so many of you are disturbed by my dog and other animals which live in most of the apartments. Are animals as annoying as you think?

I notice that you are not okay with animals and having them at an apartment drives you crazy. As a resident, i really respect your opinion but i really want you to hear me out. Animals are not as harmful as you have thought. They have numerous benefits for physical and emotional development of people. For instance, they can reduce stress and be a great companion for people of all ages. They notice sound and people before we do. This is why they are really good at protecting the place they live in. It is stated that having animals at apartment has decreased the number of robbery. Moreover, when they protect your house, they also protect you from any dangerous situation. For example dogs can hear approximately 64-23.000 Hz which can be exhausting for people to hear. In addition, having animals at home is one of the treatments for anxiety and depression. Even though you do not have an animal at your home, seeing them while you are leaving the apartment or in elevator i am sure that it will bring a smile to your face. On the other hand, they improve sense of  responsibility in people. I understand your concern about animals that you think they can be risky for your health. I know that some of the residents have allergies to animals. This is why from now on, elevators will be disinfected for your health. Furthermore, animals’ card which shows the last time they are vaccinated will be confirmed by director of each apartment. You will not see animals’ feces at public areas. A park that is only for animals is almost done. Animals will be able to run and play there freely. You will not see any vagabond animal. “Pets also help to boost your immune system. They bring all sort of germs and dirt into the home, which is by no means a bad thing. Being exposed to different germs is important for a healthy immune system.”

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Best regards,

Erica.
