The population of in 2000 being roughly 1 billion in India while 1.25 billion in China. We can observe the rate of increase in population of India being higher than China’s. The number of people present becomes nearly 1.2 in India while around 1.35 in China (the numbers are in billions). In 2020 the population of India continues to increase, reaching above 1.3; the population in China is above 1.4 by now but it can be seen that the rate of increase is starting to decrease. By 2030 the population of both China and India are equal, the said number being around 1.45 billion. After 2030, the population is starting to slowly decrease in China while for India this number continues to grow. In the year 2040, the population number is over 1.5 by now for India but since China has started to decrease in number of its residents, it is on its way towards 1.4 billion. If we observe last year shown on the graph, being 2050, it can be seen that the population in China has decreased to 1.4 while the number of people in India has found its way to 1.6 billion.
