International migration and refugee crises have become crucial problems in our lives. It has too many social, economic, political, etc. effects on the world. Due to it increasing day by day in an unstoppable way, it is nearly impossible to control the effects of it. But we need some solution ideas to fix these problems and get rid of their negative effects.
To realize our solution ideas would be helpful. First, we need to understand the key points of the topic and our target group for this we have to learn “Who is a refugee?”, and “Why do people migrate?”. A refugee is someone who is forced to leave his or her homeland. There are several reasons that people migrate to another place: wars, violence, political reasons, lack of education, job opportunities, poverty, lack of resources, religion, discrimination against specific communities (like LGBTIQA+), etc.
After understanding our target group we have to do some interviews or surveys to understand why they migrated. It is crucial to do that because it helps us to understand the problem and, without knowing our problem, our solution ideas to stop migration would not be effective. After understanding the problem we will start working on cooperation with the country which refugees came from. And doing this process to all countries that sent refugees would decrease the amount of refugees.
One of the problems that refugees are faced is human trafficking. Some countries do not allow refugees to come to their country, but the refugees who need a better life try some illegal ways to get into that country. And these illegal ways cause too much trouble like being drowned, to be kidnapped and to be robbed, etc. These issues are against both human refugee rights. To solve this issue we should control the borders in a more strict way. Also increasing the rate of acceptance to the countries would stop this issue.
To sum up everything I stated before we should not forget that the refugee crisis is a global issue. The main thing here is having cooperation with all countries including the ones who are not suitable for your policy. Stronger, together…
