Imagine one day waking up in a world where gender inequality has disappeared completely. What would you feel?
I don't think everyone will be completely happy about this. Because, as we all know, there are those who advocate
gender equality as well as those who argue that we will never be completely equal due to some changes in our structure.
I think occupational gender discrimination is wrong because regardless of gender, everyone is completely free to
do whatever they want and love. This issue has nothing to do with the gender of the person, on the contrary, as in most
of the examples we encounter in daily life, the main thing in this matter is that people do what they do with passion.
For example, most of us are not accustomed to seeing women on the battlefields. However, when we examine the history of
sports in the world, it is possible to see more talented female athletes than most male martial artists, although their
names are not emphasized as much as men. Or, to look at the situation from a different perspective, we do not see many
male teachers in kindergartens. This situation, which is like one of the main unwritten rules created by society, actually
makes no sense at all. As they do in primary, secondary and high schools, male teachers can perform their jobs very well
in kindergartens. In other words, as we can deduce from here, no one should feel under pressure regarding the profession
they want to do because of the taboos that exist in the society. We all have the right to express our ideas and wishes in
the most free way, and the last thing that can limit this is our gender or certain physiological differences.
In brief, genders do not have as divisive a place in our lives as we think. Just as a woman can be a very good driver,
a man can do ballet very well. We must transcend certain rules we have acquired from our inner society and strive to have an
innovative perspective. A world where we limit each other and ourselves not by our gender but by our talents and achievements
will be more livable for all of us.
