For The Sake Of Humanity

Every person wants to touch people’s lives at least at some time in their life. Individuals usually gain this maturity through their life experiences. Is the profession that we need to do to really access this important? For example, does a doctor really touch people’s lives more than an engineer’ s?

You know, some people are wholeheartedly attached to a profession for the rest of their lives. Here’s one of them I am. From childhood to adolescence, from adolescence to my youth, I wanted to be a surgeon. When I was little, my every dream was about becoming a surgeon. The innocence of childhood made me believe that it was just to save people’s lives, to heal their wounds, to be a hope for them. Personally, I would like to remain so innocent. But unfortunately, as human beings get older, they become selfish and arrogant. And to make matters worse, they associate that with gaining experience. Thankfully, there is a little piece of innocence in every person. You know what, a little is better than none. This innocence tells them that with the ambition brought by a little selfishness, they should be the best at being a credit to someone, and also to have the goods for being a well – qualified human. Individuals who have entered their teenage years and are trying to decide which profession they want to do and gradually be sunk in that. A few facts await them.

From time to time, people thought that they had learned everything they could learn, that there could no longer be anything different in the universe. Despite this, perhaps we will never have enough knowledge about our world or even the universe. People’s lives are running out, and when they run out, new generations take their place. We don’t know how much longer humanity will live. We must do our best in this uncertain period and become well-educated individuals for humanity. Although I feel betrayed by my childhood dreams, I think that being an engineer who brings new things to life is more beneficial to humanity than a doctor who saves lives. But still, if doctors also come up with ideas that are unprecedented for humanity, they touch people’s lives to the same extent as an engineer.

Briefly, people spend a period of their lives deciding what they want to be. Even if they may be selfish sometimes, every person wants to develop and progress by being useful to society. Nowadays, when time passes quite quickly, every individual who reveals new things is of infinite importance to each other.
