Thomas and Loran lived in farm called Natural Farm and they were quite happy with their life.
One day, Loran and Thomas were tending to their cows, sheep, and chickens when they stumbled upon a letter from Washington, DC. Thomas questioned, “Why would someone send a letter to us?” Loran, equally puzzled, replied, “I have no idea, Thomas. Let’s read the letter.”
The letter read:
Dear Loran and Thomas,
I hope you are both feeling good and energetic. I really want to see you guys, and I am feeling good and energetic too. Currently, I’m doing the dishes. What are you up to now? I plan to visit you soon, and I have a surprise for you when I come.
Thomas exclaimed, “It’s from my grandma!”
“She mentioned a surprise. I’m so excited! I bet it’s a gift,” Loran said with enthusiasm. Eager to uncover the surprise, they headed inside the house.
