Empty Words

Nowadays the art understanding is out of the control.And no one is doing a thing.The thing called rap is just meaningless words.Some of the young artist just come to a studio and write a song out of blue and expect to be praised after it.In my opinion we cant count these songs as a form of art.There are genres like rap,pop,hiphop and etc.But i dont think we can fit these songs in a genre.They just have meaningless lyrics and no story behind the words.Normally rap songs are based on a true story.Whether the artist went through or based on a real life event.But nowadays what we call rap is just meaningless words with empty rhymes.So,why most of the youngsters love this type of music?I do listen to these type of music aswell.But not that much.These songs just pull you in.It is like a blackhole.Once you get close to it you cant get out of it.But i think the thing that pulls young people is the melody.The melody goes perfectly with the words.So it sounds good and cool.But besides the melody it is just some meaningless words.I think the reason behind this meaningless word usage is that the creativity of people is dead.When we take a look at old school rap it has very meaningfull words.And besides the lyrics the story behind is very touching.The stories are usually based on bad things happened in artist’s life.Even though it is based on bad things occured it is still fun to listen.Or look at turkish old school rap.We had really good artists which had creativity and speed.Like ceza.The song holocaust.It is a piece of art.It takes pure skill and hardwork to write a song like that.But nowadays the lyrics are just used to fill the gap in the song.They are usually about drugs or the things most of the young people find cool.This is the reason most of the young people love to listen to all of that meaningless words.It is catchy and young people find the lyrics fun and cool.So,i dont think that we can count these songs as a form of art.
