Edison vs Tesla

Have you ever seen a movie or documentary showing the battle between Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edisons? If so, to whom do you belong? If not, let me describe the two.

Nikola Tesla was born in Croatia on July 10, 1856. He was born in a poor family. You may have heard the story of Tesla’s birth. His obstetrician said that when Tesla was born, it was thundering. So his obstetrician said that he would be a bad person in the future, but he proved that he made the thunder come because of electricity.

On the other hand, Thomas Edison was born in Ohio on February 11, 1847. Although he was born in Ohio, he grew up in Michigan in 1954. He was dutch by his patrilineal family line.

There is a lack of knowledge on this argument, however, there are a lot of stories. One of these stories says that Nikola Tesla was a fan of Thomas Alva Edison. One day Tesla goes to Edison’s lab. And talks to get hired with his ideas but Edison rejects that. Then Tesla works for himself and starts to make trials on basic electricity and current. When he was going to present a new project that is about opening nearly 100 bulbs at the same time from Tesla’s lab, one day before this experiment, his lab. and all his studies were burned by someone. We will not know who did this but in those times everyone thought that Edison did that because of jealousy.

That’s the story I believe instead of other millions of stories. Also, that’s why I admire Nikola Tesla. If you are in the same way as me, you can watch, read, and listen to more about Tesla’s life and you can go to Niagara Falls (Tesla had studied there) which is between the United States of America and Canada to visit Tesla’s statue.

After Edison stole his ideas and get patented them, Tesla said: “I do not care that they stole my idea, I care that they do not have any of their own.
