The concept of cloning, creating a genetically identical copy of an organism, has sparked the imagination of scientists, researchers, and the public alike. However, such enormous power comes with great responsibility, and it is crucial to examine the pros and cons of cloning before deciding on its use. I will talk about and compare the positive and negative effects of cloning as a result of some research I have done.
One of the key positive aspects of cloning is its potential to allow infertile couples to have children with genetically related offspring. Cloning can provide a way for those struggling with infertility to have a chance to become parents. Because for most couples, having children is something that keeps their marriage vigorous and is very important. Another positive aspect is preserve. Cloning can help conserve endangered or extinct species. By making genetically identical copies of animals or plants, researchers can preserve genetic diversity and increase species’ chances of survival. With this, we increase biodiversity and protect the balance of nature.
Cloning is a technology that has many negative aspects and is generally considered bad for society. It has many negative effects, from ethical concerns to genetic abnormalities and environmental impact. One of the most important of these negative effects: Ethical Concerns. Cloning aims to disrupt life in a laboratory that can be seen as a violation of the natural order. Cloning raises questions about the moral status of cloned organisms and whether they have the same rights as other living things. And another effects is genetic abnormalities. Genetic abnormalities that can cause health problems because cloning is not %100 perfect process. And there can be errors during the replication of genetic materials.
As the result of this effects cloning both has bad and good sides but ın my opinion bad sides are much. Because living things are important and if we make clones , it can be harmful fort hem. In conclusion, I don’t think it’s necessary for the beneficiaries of cloning to risk what’s at hand and disrupt order at will.
