DOES ALIENS EXIST?

Are there any creatures in the universe except the Earth? The issue is a common discussion nowadays for astronomers/scientists. Some of them support that there must be living things out of the universe, however, the other part of them does not believe in aliens. Whether you ask me, I would say that “Aliens exist or not, it is not the point. The point is, are they close enough for us to discover them?”

It is estimated that there are as many as 400 billion stars in the Milky Way Galaxy. Let’s say they each have 5 planets. That means there are 2 trillion planets in our galaxy alone. Considering so many places, including intelligent and technologically advanced life, it’s impossible for me to believe that Earth is the only planet that has life.

Although there is no definitive proof, there are some findings to support the claims. Consider the sub-ice oceans of Jupiter’s two large moons Europa and Ganymede: These are places where temperatures are appropriate and access to minerals is available. Saturn’s moon Titan has some interesting molecules on its surface, as well as active weather systems that can carry them. Given all this, it becomes inevitable that we find a system for active living somewhere.

So while I believe alien life exists, I find it extremely difficult to find proof of it. Maybe one day we can find out if we have interplanetary neighbors or if we are truly alone. Maybe we’ll never find out.
