COSTS OF TIME TRAVELLING

Recently, a genius scientist named Akın was experimenting with a time-traveling machine that he invented and accidentally traveled to the time of Osman Bey, when the Ottoman Empire was first founded — in 1299 AD. Although he could not understand why he had gone to this exact date, he nervously started to walk around, having no idea what the effects of this would be. Then, when he raised his head, he saw the Ottoman state taking land from the Tekfurs, and he immediately hid behind a nearby tree. The reason for this was that if the Ottomans caught him, they could take him prisoner, which could upset the balance of time since he didn’t belong to this era, and he knew it.

Later, he remembered that, in his frustration, he had hit everything around him while trying to figure out how he had ended up there. Even though he realized it too late, he began mumbling to himself, “Please, let nothing happen.” Then, he suddenly started to disappear. The reason was that the soil he had disturbed created a 20-magnitude earthquake that would, in the future, be the first of its kind in the world. In that future, 70% of the people living on Earth would die, and he would be one of them. Because of this, he disappeared right there, unable to do anything, and this caused everything he would have created in the future to disappear as well.
