In today’s world, we find ourselves buying things more than we need such as the latest mobile phones, brand name clothing. Not only we do not feel content with what we have, but also we always want more. Do we really need these? Have people become unable to control themselves?
The world is getting more and more thorny every year so people are trying to keep up with it. In Turkey, salaries received by people are spent immediately because of the monthly needs, and it costs a fortune to live. Despite all these problems, some people claim they get cheap and quality things without effort. When I heard people saying these things, I couldn’t help thinking about the question of whether quality should always be expensive. From my point of view, people can shop without having to exceed their budget. We do not necessarily have to buy clothes from famous stores in shopping malls. As a solution to this problem, you can shop from any boutiques which hold stock clothes that fit your style.
I am against the idea that every quality good is expensive; therefore, I oppose the idea everything that is expensive is going to be in a good quality. Having said that, one of the popular technology company has traded down. The reason they were in this situation was that they sold twice as much as their cost. Most of the users who protest against the company by not buying the latest phone model warn those who do not buy the phone. The customer’s comments will at least give some stick to a company which stimulates them, but it doesn’t solve the issue completely. Because the company has users from all over the world, it needs to pay attention to the ideas of its users.
To give an example from myself, things I usually get at an affordable price is durable. On the other hand, I have never used the shoe I bought from a store that everyone prefers because it was not comfortable. Nevertheless, when shopping in both cases, I realized that they are not as different as chalk and cheese. In fact, I’ve discovered that the real issue is the happiness of people.
Whatever your financial situation is, no matter how much you pay for it, do not regret the decisions you make and use it cheerfully.
