We as humans are built to think. Every minute of our lives is an effort to think. But what actually is thinking? Is it just complex thoughts or feelings that we cannot decide in our minds. While thinking is a difficult and assertive action, it is also difficult to choose between these thoughts. We have been thought to choose between these thoughts since kindergarten. There are always two or more options to pick.
The famous question like, would you like to be invisible or be able to fly are the one that are tricky to answer. The other well-known question is the “Would you rather have the ability to see the future or change the past?” This choice usually makes people think for a second.
Some say; going to the past to correct previous mistakes is better than going into the future and witnessing it. This is because you would have another opportunity to correct your and other big mistakes created by society in order to develop a better future, it is also good to go in the past to greet some family members who might’ve passed away. Going into the future only gives you an opportunity to see normal ordinary stuff change, it’ll be difficult to adjust to it and you will feel as if you’re an old person who is not familiar to new technology. In conclusion, it is better to go into the past and correct mistakes in order to create a better future also you can meet family members who have passed away this is better than going to the future as you won’t be as familiar with technology and social norms and you’ll feel like an outcast.
While; others believe that, it is not realistic to think of the future independently of the past. In order to foresee the future, it is necessary to know the past and the present very well. While planning the future, it should not be forgotten that the development and change we experience in the past and today shapes the future.
The future does not happen just because it is predicted. Accurate and reliable information is needed. It is the right knowledge, experience, and will that enables the correct analysis of developments. The factors that determine the future are very variable. Changes in a factor can affect more than one development. Predicting the future, which includes countless possibilities and uncertainties, and being able to manage these forecasts is an important problem.
