In the year 2000, the number of people living in India is 1 billion, which is way below the value for China, which is around 1.25 billion. As the years go by , we see a stagnation in the population increase of China , where in the years 2028-2029, the graph is almost fully horizontal. Meanwhile, the increase in the population of India rises almost constantly, until the populations of the two countries will be the same in the year 2030, where the populations are at 1.45 billion each. After that point, the population of China starts decreasing, whereas the population of India keeps increasing.
