The Most Important Children’s Rights

Everybody has rights, including social rights, economic rights, and political rights. Some people think children do not have any rights, but children also have important rights. The United Nations established these rights for children in 1989.

What Are These Rights?

The first right is the right to education. Children need to go to school to learn, and education must be free in primary school.

The second important right is the right to healthcare. Every child should be healthy, have access to hospitals, enough food, and clean drinking water.

The next important right is protection from violence. We should provide children with a safe home and a secure environment. We must protect children from bad parents and harmful people outside.

Another significant right is the prevention of child labor. I believe children should not work; they should be in school. There are millions of children working in factories, earning very little money. Additionally, they often become ill, so we must do something about it.

Finally, children should have an identity and a country. They should have a name and surname, and they should live in a country that provides them with an identity card.
