This is a report about our school trip to Cappadocia for our local teacher. I am writing this report to explain the details, advantages, disadvantages, and suggestions about our school trip to Cappadocia.
This trip was for all the 9th-grade students, but it was optional to attend it or not. Also, some of our teachers accompanied us for an unwanted mishap. We attended this trip 1 week before our IGCSE exams, on 20-21 April. The hotel that we accommodated was in the center of Cappadocia. We tried to visit all the tourist areas in Cappadocia and tried many tourist dishes. Also, our teachers organized a party at night to entertain us.
This trip was planned to make us relax before our stressful exams. According to the student’s comments, it worked. Thinking something not about exams helped students to rest their minds for 2 days. It was a great way to relieve stress and have fun. Moreover, students said that the hotel where we stayed was comfortable and affordable. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and everything was organized. The party place was big. The sound system and well-organized stage made the party better. Additionally, seeing new places, exploring new cultures, and tasting new savors was meaningful.
For students, the trip was too short. It lasted for 1 night, and 2 days so we couldn’t completely visit the city. We were able to visit only 4 tourist attractions which is not enough, because Cappadocia has a lot of historical places that must visit. Also, it was not enough to relax. Some students thought they could study for their IGCSE exams instead of going on a short trip. Moreover, the time choice was risky. Students could be injured or get sick before their exams and could not be able to attend exams or make their exams full focus. It is too risky to organize a trip before an exam period that this important.
According to these comments, here are my suggestions: First, this trip could be longer than only 1 night. And second, this trip could have been done earlier.
