Can I Use Your Phone?

Kate looked at the bloody knife in her hands and felt angry. She walked over to the window and reflected on his scary surroundings. She had always hated forest in dark with its trees. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel angry and do something wrong.

Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of her friend, Jack. He was looking like a stupid monster with a hairy arm and ugly fingers.

Kate gulped and glanced at his own reflection. She was selfish and smart but the only thing that no one ever believes was her addiction to drinking blood with human tongue and fingers. Her friends saw her as a psychopath for this habit. In fact, they would be psychopath themselves, if they do not think like that.

But not even a selfish person who had drunk blood for voluntarily, was prepared for what Jack had in his mind.

As Kate stepped outside and Jack came closer, she could see the long glint in his eye.”I am here because I want a phone call,” Jack bellowed, in a violent tone. She took her phone but at that moment, Jack’s fist against Kate’s chest, with the force of a whole world. “I will use you, not the phone.” he added.

Kate looked back, even more, stressed and still keeping the bloody knife. When she was going to use it, a phone rang. Kate was distracted but still trying to survive  “Jake, do not take that call,” she shouted. They looked at each other with scary feelings, which had dramatic music playing in the background if they were in movies and suddenly Jack cancelled the call.

Eventually, she took a deep breath. “I’m sorry, but I can’t let you borrow you my phone,” she explained, in pitying tones. Kate looked tired, her body cannot carry any other accident. She thought, she will be dead but an event happened. She heard Jack’s body shatter into pieces over a hundred. Then Kate afraid to be caught that is why she hurried away into the unknown of the forest.

Not even a drink of blood would calm Kate’s nerves tonight.
