Camping Gone Wrong

After lots of arguments and disagreements, Kiki and her family decided to go camping for a day. Kiki never liked going camping mostly because of all the bugs and insects living there. Kiki insisted on not going and staying at home while her family went camping but no, her mother really wanted her to come no matter what because she didn’t trust her to stay alone. Kiki and her family packed their bags and hit the road. After a few hours they arrived at the camping area. It wasn’t as crowded as usual so it seemed like their experience would be much calmer. Her family looked around for a good camping spot and eventually found a placid place. Her father took out all the tent equipment and started to set the tent up. While he was doing that, her mother took out all the cooking equipment but realized that they needed some wood to make a fire. Her mother looked at Kiki who was lying on one of the blankets while looking up at the sky. Her mother nudged her arm and pointed at the forest. She then asked if she could grasp a few twigs, sticks and some logs to light up a fire. Kiki sighed and stood up from the blanket she was lying on. She got up and started to walk away from the camping area to find the things her mother asked for.

After about half an hour, she gathered enough resources for the fire but there was one problem; She had no idea where she was at. Kiki did remember following a path but now the only thing she could see were trees. Kiki put all the woods she had gathered on the ground because they were pretty heavy and she wouldn’t be able to wander around with that any stuff in her hands. Kiki put them in the ground and started to look around. She tried to find anything that she found familiar but no, everywhere was identical. As she wandered around the forest, she realized that she could just call her family. She took her phone out but then realized that there was no signal and the sun was about to set. Now she had realized that she was in a bad situation. She tried to call her mom and dad for a few times but the forest was extremely quiet. Eventually, the sun set and Kiki got pretty tired. She had tried everything but the only things she could were the logs she had put in the ground a few hours ago. She was in a bad mood but at least she had a few goodies in her pocket. Kiki lied all the logs next to each other and then put her sweatshirt on it. She then lied on her ‘comfortable bed’ and looked at the stars for a while.
The forest they were camping at was a safe place with no animals so Kiki wasn’t that scared. In her mind, they would eventually find her. And she wasn’t wrong, while Kiki was sleeping, someone started to shake her and nudge her like they were trying to wake her up. Kiki slowly opened her eyes and saw her mother trying to wake her daughter up. She looked scared. The second she woke up, her mother asked about everything and Kiki explained everything. At least she had found her parents…
