Everything was perfect until that night of the new year. Me and my friends were planning to throw a party at the new year night. We believed that it was going to be a breath-taking party which will be unforgettable but still I think this party will always have a pretty place in our memories. But the new year had some other plans for us.
My morning started as usual. Everything was going pretty well and my family was still at home. My parents were planning to go out for the new year and have some dinner together for quality time. It is been a long time since they had alone time together so I was glad to know that they still like to have some private time. My sister who is two years older than me was going to spend the night with me. Before the new year week arrived, we agreed that spending the night with our close friends might be a brilliant idea. That is why we called our mutual friends before a week ago and not surprisingly, they agreed to spend to night with us. We both love our close mutual friends so that was marvellous for all three of us. But we did not want to spend the night at home just chit-chatting with friends for us it sounds a little boring. Therefore, we talked with them about the new year plan and they admitted that when they thought about the new year plan which is slumping in the couch watching TV sounds a little uninteresting. So, we agreed to throw a party.
Therefore, we made a plan and distributed it to everyone. My sister and I were going to decorate our house for the party. Some of our friends were going to get some food, others were going to get some drinks for the night. From that moment it sounds like it will be amusing. Of course, we bought gifts for everyone. After all, it’s the new year night. It was nearly afternoon when we finished decorating our house for the party. My parents were already gone. Then when we contacted with our friends who were supposed to bring food said they were not ready but the ones who were buying the drinks said they were ready to come. So, the ones who were ready came. We welcomed them to our house. They said it looked too pretty for a new year party. But we took this comment positively. We got the food and did what we need to do. After that everyone came one by one. Everything looked perfect and was perfect though. We planned a surprise cake to celebrate the new year, which is the beautiful start of new things. The friend who was going to bring the cake said it was gorgeous so it made us really happy to hear that. But we were still waiting for that person to came. It was almost midnight and we were getting nervous. Even though we were getting more and more anxious everyone looked really pleased.
It was only seconds before the new year. And, just then we heard a knocking on the door. Everyone froze because of the sudden noise. My sister slowly headed to the door and we were just looking in a shock, it was the friend with the gorgeous cake. It was a relief to see that. Then the fireworks started. It was new year.
