Being Vegan

I think it’s not so certain that everyone should be vegan by 2030. At first, I didn’t agree with being vegan because I believe we can’t get enough proper protein. Yes, I know vegans can get vitamins or protein from beans, but I think it’s not enough. And of course, we can’t predict everything that happens in a short time. For example, Türkiye could turn into a desert this week—we just don’t know. So, it’s not realistic to say that everyone should be vegan.

Yes, I know the Earth’s situation is not good when it comes to resources, but there are two other things to consider. Our drinking water supply is decreasing every year, and without water, plants won’t grow, so we wouldn’t have vegetables either! How could we be vegan then?

I think we can help the Earth by using solar panels, avoiding perfumes or deodorants, carpooling, and riding bicycles more often. We can’t save the Earth just by being vegan. And don’t forget, we need meat for energy. So, as you can see, I don’t agree with this idea.
