Being a Women!

Is geography destiny for women? In my opinion geography is destiny. Geography sets boundaries, fate is a term used against change. Women’s education is related to geography. When we look at present, a woman in Iran cannot get the education she received in America.

Being a women and being a man. Although life is more comfortable for men, it is not so for women. The female sex indicates the weak in some societies. a woman’s education is not determined by the physical characteristics of the place where she lives, so, it is not destiny. It is the influence of the strong side on the weak. Iran and Turkey live in the same geographical conditions, but the educational and social differences of Iranian women and Turkish women are not due to geography. Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, has a great importance in the education of women. However, there is no such one for Iranian women. Despite the fact that we are in 21. Century girls in Afghanistan cannot go to school.

Whichever country a woman is born in, the educational conditions there determine her fate, so geography determines the fate of a woman’s education. The educational conditions enjoyed by women in different countries are not equal. The education of women is not directly proportional to the economic wealth of the country. For example, although Saudi Arabia is a very rich country, the education rates of women are low. Sociological differences are also important in the education of women. Women in Canada do not have concerns about education because they have developed as a society. The educational conditions they have are higher than in other countries. I don’t think there is a woman whose education has been hindered. Since there is no gender discrimination, as a woman or a man, there is equal opportunity in education. A woman born in Canada and a woman born in Afghanistan have different equal opportunities in education just because they are in different geographies. After all this, can we still say that geography is not a destiny in women’s education?

The geography in which a person lives sociologically affects every aspect of his social life. The woman is also influenced by the geography she lives in every aspect. Women’s education is negatively affected by geography. Ibni Haldun said that,’’ Geography is destiny.’’
