An Own Goal

Everything humans needed to survive and thrive was provided by the natural world around us: food, water, medicine, materials for shelter, and even natural cycles such as climate and nutrients. That’s why nature is our primary need. Harming nature is the biggest mistake we can make to ourselves. Opposite to that people are not giving enough respect to nature and going to a big mistake they cannot comeback.

Most people do not understand nature’s importance yet and are still fighting with it, but the importance of nature is more significant than they thought. Understanding the benefits is a critical issue that I think people should get to grips with as it surely would lead to more protection of our natural world.

Also, nature is good for human health, and there is a lot of research on this topic. There are six findings on how nature can improve our life quality.

– There are many pathways through which nature can improve our health, including improved air quality, increased physical activity, more social cohesion, and stress reduction.

– Spending 20 to 30 minutes a day in nature can significantly reduce stress levels by producing a drop in cortisol.

– Reduce the risk of heart diseases.

– Nature improves mental health and reduces anxiety levels.

– Spending time in nature can also help with physical injuries.

– Air and water purification are essential for human life, and these are the main things in nature.

We should protect our environment, and if we keep fighting with nature, the results will be bad for us. Harming wildlife and not thinking about our future can be our end. If we don’t want it, we should warn our friends and increase our nature importance.

It’s easy to think nature will always be with us. But it depends on whether we let the character go to the wall or act to repair, restore and maintain it. Species are going extinct, and the natural systems that support all life on Earth are eroded faster than ever before. So basically, nature is in our hands, and we should protect it.
