ACCIDENT

“HURRY!” I heard my mom yelling at me through the old car’s dusty window. I got prepared and got out of the house to get in the car. After I got in the we started chatting with my mom about casual issues and what had been going on in our lives. After a while passed I decided that I wanted to mention about an issue that my mom hates talking about. But I needed to confront her this time, I needed to know why my dad has left me when I was just a baby. So, I tried bringing this up without making my mom angry, but she didn’t catch the clue, so I decided to directly say it to her face. “Mom…” I said to her in a quiet voice. “What’s the matter sweetie?” She told me. I felt a bit nervous but at the end I finally said it. “Mom, okay I know you don’t like talking about him but I have the right to know why my dad left me.” I told her. She looked like she was raging with anger but then she answered “Liela! How many times have I told you to not bring up about this man ever again?” She said. I also got a bit angry so I said “Mom that’s enough, I do have the right to know who my father is and even see him.” in a yelling voice. “Do you really want to see a man who didn’t even want you in the first place Liela, he will not even want to look at your face.” She said, starting to get red overtime. “Don’t talk about him like that, I’m pretty sure he had a stable reason to leave me behind at the time.” I said. After that my mom got even angrier and we both broke into a huge argument. Our voices got louder as the time passed as well. After a while i heard my mom screaming and not even a minute later I woke up in a hospital. They told me that we got into car crash and my mom was in coma, I was pretty shocked but later I got used to it. After weeks, then months passed I got a phone call and they told me that my mother had died. Everything went completely silent at that point, I couldn’t stop hearing her screaming and blamed myself for it. I still can’t believe it.
