A Way Out

Think back to a time in your life that you had inevitable thoughts going through your mind. Maybe you were just anxious because of an exam or maybe you were sad because of an obstacle in your life.

Think about the emotions that went through your body. How did you feel at that time? Concepts in your mind, your body’s condition… Have you had anyone to talk to about your feelings? Would things be better if you had someone?

Recently, I was feeling down and I couldn’t find a reason for it. Neither I was concerned about my exams nor I had any major problems in my life. I also didn’t want to talk to people I know. I have just wanted to talk to someone whom I don’t know to get an opinion from outside. I looked up on the internet but I couldn’t even find a website like that. Then, an idea came up to my mind, I was going to set up a website where people from all over the world could express their feelings, random thoughts anonymously with people they don’t know.

This website of mine would be very basic in terms of design but very beneficial in terms of its purpose. It would provide a platform for anyone to express their emotions. Also, you would be able to contact with others and share your opinions on others thoughts. All of these things would be anonymous due to safety concerns.

Moreover, it will make people write their hearts out unblushingly. Since there will be educated psychiatrists on the website, everyone would be able to take online support for free.

People need this website because nowadays most people love keeping their thoughts to themselves and I find this attitude strikingly wrong. I think all of the inner thoughts, 4 a.m thinkings, our what if’s need to be heard by the world.

Overall, a website like this would be pretty beneficial for people who can’t express their feelings pretty easily. As Marianne Williamson said: “The more room you give yourself to express your true thoughts and feelings, the more room there is for your wisdom to emerge.”
