A Dream Came True

I have always dreamed of inventing something since I was little. One of my biggest dreams was to be an inventor. Even when I was five or six years old, I would try to invent something with the materials I had.

Throughout my primary, secondary and high school periods, I tried to improve myself in different subjects. I think I was successful. I must not have been able to get out of the effect of the time travel films I watched for years, so I have been trying to invent a machine that I can travel in time for years.

I did a lot of research, gathered information from many different sources, and interviewed many people. Thinking that I had done enough research and had enough information for a machine that I could do time travel, I started to build the machine. After long efforts and many unsuccessful attempts, I managed to build a time travel machine. The next thing was to decide when I would travel.

I had always cared a lot about my academic success and as a result of this caring, I had spent years as a successful student. As a result, I had learnt how to cope with situations or how to collect a situation. For this reason, I decided to make my first time travel to the day I would take the university exam.

The biggest mistake I made in the exam was to change the choice that I thought was correct at the very beginning. Thinking that this question was not so easy, I turned the questions that I actually got right in the exam into wrong ones. Afterwards, I regretted this very much, so I decided to make my first time travel to that day to say that I should not do this.

On the day I was going to take the university exam, I entered my time travel machine. After about three minutes, I went back to that time. I was excited, both as the old me when I went back and the current me. My mother had prepared a very nice breakfast for me and left the house, when I was alone at home, I went to the old me that I had travelled in time and told him what he had achieved, what lessons he had learned. I told him what he should and should not do. He must have listened to me because when I came back, I graduated from a much different and much better university.

It was a very good day for me. I had seen that I had been successful in what I had been working for years and had been my childhood dream, and I had also corrected a mistake I had made in the past.
