House

A Drama to Learn From

I do not particularly enjoy watching movies so I am going to write about a TV show that I am currently watching. It is called “House” and it is a medical drama. As you might have guessed, it is set in a hospital. One of the main things pulling me into the show is the main character, House, whom the show is named after. The show shows the life in a hospital of (at the start) 4 doctors working together in a team to diagnose and cure the most outlandish cases and diseases to come into the hospital.

The show is set in the Princeton–Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, located in New Jersey, United States. The hospital is one of the most prestigious ones in the area. The characters consist of: House (the primary doctor), three doctors in House’s team named Cameron, Foreman, and Chase; hospital administrator Cuddy, and one of the chairman members and the primary antagonist (as of season 1) Voglar. House is an arrogant, pathetic person that only cares about the objective truth. He doesn’t care about other people’s feelings, so nobody around him likes him. He has a total of one (1) friend, a cancer doctor named Wilson. Nobody likes him and Voglar tried to close his department, but he is just so good at his job that nobody can do anything about it. The show is separated into episode, and in each episode, we see an interesting case that the team aims to solve.

The main reason that i am interested in this show is that firstly, i believe that it emphasizes that taking every small detail into account is really important. There are many more lessons you can learn from each episode but the one that i really find important was this one. The second reason is that House knows nearly everything in his expertise and that is a quality that many of us should aspire to have.

In conclusion, House is a great show that I would recommend to almost everybody, except maybe people who are disgusted by blood.
