A Different Earth

In this universe, humans and animals live in harmony. Schools and daycares are organized into distinct groups: human-only daycares, animal-only daycares, and even species-specific daycares. Sometimes, there are inclusive daycares that accept everyone—both humans and animals.

However, the same inclusivity doesn’t apply to schools. Animals and humans are required to attend separate schools. There are species-specific schools, human-only schools, and animal-only schools.

A day in a human-only school is just like the schools we are familiar with. Classes run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Daycares are similar, but with less lesson time.

In animal-only schools, the schedule is different. Animals usually start their day earlier, waking up at 6 a.m., and school ends at 3 p.m. Different species often have their own classes and learn unique subjects. For example, lions study in hot classrooms and are taught lessons that differ from those taught to tigers.
