Being called a genius would make everyone feel proud. Society calls people clever easily but how do we separate people from each other? When they achieve something as a result of hard work does it mean that they are smarter than us?
Some people consider working hard makes you smarter. It is nonsense. Being smart means being practical. Genius people give quick responses to the situations and they find solutions to the problems rapidly also, they use their time wisely so that they finish their work on time.
There is a common thought that we need creative minds rather than slaves working day and night. Well, that’s true. Having creativity is essential to develop our country. Any people around you can study and achieve their goal, however, being creative is something totally different which requires a visionary. You should be open-minded. Observation gives you the chance to look around you and listen to different people’s ideas. Hearing from different characters will broaden your perspective. Steve Jobs said “Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while.”
Do we need diligent or creative people to improve our country? I believe that studying is not important at all. Because studying does not make you a qualified person. It just paves the way for success. As we all know Bill Gates is one of the richest people in the world and once he said ” I choose a lazy person to do a hard job. Because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it.” I understand that lazy people finish the job quicker than the hardworking ones since they will want to throw off the work they are given consequently, studying is not the most important thing in the world.
How can we be creative? Well, it will not be easy for our society since we are not raised in this way. We are studying in a curriculum that requires a lot of memorization. The education system limits our creativity nevertheless, we can overcome this problem. All we need to do is to think more and share ideas.
As a conclusion, our country needs more creative people with open minds. Think practical and don’t feel afraid to become an outcast as a result of your imagination and creativity.
