Children’s Rights

Protecting children’s rights is one of the most, if not the most important, things that should be done to create a healthy society. But making your society apply these rights isn’t easy.

To effectively protect children’s rights, we need to know what they consist of and how many there are. Children have 15 general rights, but everyone has 12 of them, even as an adult, so we need to focus on the main 3 rights, which are the right to education and the best interests of the child and family. Right to education means the child has to receive education via public, private, or home school until the end of high school. After high school, you may or may not attend a university for a diploma, but it is your own choice. The best interests of the child mean that all decisions made about a child should be based on what’s best for them and not what is best for anybody else. Family means that a child should not be separated from their family, and if they don’t have one, they have access to a foster home or a legal guardian that takes care of them.

Now that we know what rights children have, we can talk about how we can apply and protect them. Firstly, we should make a check on the kids at least every 15 days. Make a foster home and public schools. Check on their family, foster home, or guardian and see if they take care of the child properly.

If we want a better future, we need to start by taking care of our children and ensuring their rights are protected. By doing so, we’re not just helping them; we’re building a stronger, more caring society for everyone.
