When I was a child, one day I heard that Atatürk would come to Ankara. I was very excited, and I ran to tell my friends the news. When they heard it, they were excited, too. Together, we tried to find out where and when Atatürk would arrive in Ankara.
Everyone was excited—people in the streets started decorating everywhere. Finally, the day came. Atatürk arrived in Ankara. He looked very happy and greeted everyone with a smile. All of Ankara was happy, too.
I can never forget this memory. Whenever I think about it, I still feel very excited and happy.
