Report: Out of School Activity Options for Students

As requested, I have prepared a report on the out-of-school activites for students. I interviewed the students at our school and I compiled my findings and suggestions in this report.

My first suggestion is to open an art workshop. This workshop consists of six classes in total lasting six weeks with each class focusing on another art form. In this workshop students will be able to explore their talents while improving themselves with their peers. For each field of art, an expert will be invited to class to assist the students.

Another option is the coding class. This course takes longer than the other courses because of its complexity. In this ten week course students will first fully assimilate the nature of programming and computer science. After that the students will start learning a programming language. This coding class will be a great opportunity for students to get a further understanding of the newest technologies and for them to develop 21st century skills.

The last option is the community service program. This course will take six weeks to complete just like the art workshop. In this program each week the students will engage in a different community service activity whether it is visiting a nursing home or raising money for kids in rural regions. This will allow students to get closer with their community and develop further empathy towards others.

In conclusion, there are options with great benefits to the students as better technological abilities or further developments in art. But overall the activity that I would recommend wo the headteacher would be the community service program.
