DREAM WORLD

Every student lives through a familiar cycle—they go to school, return home, and repeat the process every weekday. Among them was a girl who followed this routine religiously. Each morning, she woke up at seven o’clock, dressed, ate her breakfast, and headed to school. She always took the same path, a route so familiar that she could navigate it with her eyes closed.

But one particular day, something felt different. As she walked along, humming her favorite melody, she suddenly stopped in her tracks. In the middle of the path, where there had never been anything before, stood a mysterious closed door.

At first, she thought she might be dreaming—after all, how could a door simply appear out of nowhere? But as she pinched herself and felt the sharp sting, she realized it was all too real. Her curiosity grew stronger with every second. What could be behind this door? Why was it here? Without hesitation, she reached for the handle and opened it.

The moment the door creaked open, an invisible force pulled her inside. She tried to resist, but it was too strong. Before she could scream or even think, everything went black.

When she opened her eyes, she found herself in a world unlike anything she had ever seen. It was as if she had stepped into a dreamland crafted from sweets and magic. The trees were made of lollipops, their colorful branches swaying gently in a sugary breeze. Houses resembled giant gingerbread creations, complete with frosting-covered roofs. The sun in the sky was a giant candy, glowing warmly and casting a golden light over the candy-coated world.

Dazed but delighted, she began to explore. Everywhere she turned, there was something incredible to see—a river of chocolate flowing lazily through a peppermint forest, jellybean bushes scattered across the ground, and marshmallow clouds floating in the sky. She wandered through this magical land for what felt like hours, marveling at its wonders.

Eventually, her stomach growled, reminding her she hadn’t eaten. Spotting a house that looked like a giant slice of cake, she approached it and cautiously broke off a small piece. To her amazement, it was as delicious as it looked! She tried another bite, then another, until she could no longer ignore her disbelief. Everything in this world was edible!

She laughed with joy, running from one sweet marvel to the next, sampling everything she could. But just as she reached for a candy-colored flower, a loud, shrill sound broke through the magical atmosphere. It was her alarm clock.

She jolted awake, back in her bed, her heart sinking as she realized it had all been a dream. Her room, though cozy, felt dull compared to the vibrant candy land she had just visited. For a moment, she lay there, staring at the ceiling, trying to hold on to the sweetness of the dream.

Though it was gone, the memory lingered, and she smiled to herself. “Maybe one day,” she whispered, “I’ll find that door again.”
