Just like any Saturday, I woke up and washed my face. Then, I read some books until my mom called out, “Breakfast is ready!” I went to the kitchen, ate my breakfast, and then headed to the library.
As usual, I was walking toward my favorite author’s books, but something caught my eye along the way. There was a sparkling book on the shelf. I knew I wasn’t supposed to take it, but no one was around, so I carefully took the book from the shelf. To my surprise, although it was sparkling, it looked very old.
I brushed the dust off, and suddenly, the book began flipping through its pages rapidly—without me even touching it! Finally, it stopped on a page, and the moment I touched it, something flew out!
It looked like a rabbit, standing on two legs. And then I saw the carrot… That’s right! It was Bugs Bunny! I couldn’t believe my eyes.
Just as I was about to talk to him, he pulled out a paintbrush, drew a circle on the wall, and started running. As he approached the wall, something truly “Looney” happened—he went straight through it!
Before disappearing, he said, “You can do it too.”
I tried to follow him, but when I ran toward the wall, I bumped right into it!
Looking back now, I think that day was really funny.
