Alice woke up and made her bed. After taking a shower, she enjoyed the delicious breakfast her mom had prepared. She was really interested in the books at the library, so she thought going there with her friend Emma would be a great idea.
After breakfast, she hurried to the bathroom and brushed her teeth. Alice was excited because she wanted to read a book that Emma had recommended as interesting. Since her little brother Jake was still sleeping, she quietly packed her materials into her bag and called Emma to join her.
Emma agreed, saying, “Okay!” Alice waited for her, and ten minutes later, Emma arrived. Together, they headed to the library.
Alice was amazed when she saw all the books. She ran inside and began searching for the book she wanted to read. She looked through every shelf but couldn’t find it. Then she noticed a shelf she hadn’t checked yet. On that shelf, she spotted an old book.
The book was covered in dust, and its color had faded over time. She wiped off the dust and read the title: The Magician. Curious, she examined the book. It was thick, very old, but intriguing.
Meanwhile, Emma had found a book for herself, and they both sat on a sofa. Alice opened the cover of The Magician, and suddenly, she was pulled inside the book!
Alice found herself in a lovely town filled with colorful flowers and trees. She didn’t know where she was. She noticed a big house and decided to knock on the door.
A man wearing a magician’s hat and a long jacket answered. “Welcome to my house,” he said.
Though worried, Alice stepped inside and asked, “Where am I?”
The man replied, “You’re in The Magician—the magical book. Whoever opens it gets transported inside. If you want to return to the real world, you need to find the key to the big door and unlock it.”
Without hesitation, Alice set off on her quest. She searched everywhere and even encountered a big bear! The town was vast, so the magician decided to help her. Days passed, and they became close friends.
Finally, Alice found the key near a big tree. It was time to leave. The magician bid her farewell as she opened the big door.
Suddenly, Alice found herself back on the sofa. She glanced at the clock—only ten minutes had passed.
Emma, sitting next to her, asked, “Where were you?”
Alice replied, “I was in the toilet.” Still in shock, she kept the incredible adventure to herself.
