Film Review

Are you interested in planes and want to watch a astonishing high-octane action film? If so “Top Gun”directed by Tony Scott, starring Tom Cruise in the leading roles could be just what you’re looking for. Especially in a movie night with friends.

Top Gun is an elite training program for the top one percent of pilots. Its primary purpose is to teach advanced aerial combat techniques, often referred to as the lost art of dog-fighting. The story follows Tom Cruise as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, a talented but reckless fighter pilot who is accepted into this prestigious school. As Maverick competes against the best pilots in the country, he struggles with his ego, his need to prove himself, and the shadow of his father’s legacy.

Throughout the film’s entertaining and action-packed plot, developing a romantic relationship with the civilian instructor and some tragic events adding drama and emotional depth to the film. in addition to the humorous jokes cracked here and there not to mention about the actor’s realistic performance. Furthermore, the film’s aerial combat scenes are spectacular, offering breathtaking cinematography that showcases the speed and intensity of fighter jet dogfights. Also, there are iconic soundtracks Kenny Loggins’ “Danger Zone” and Berlin’s “Take My Breath Away,” that make the film more impressive.

In a nutshell I strongly recommend this masterpiece for action and romantic lovers. if you watch and like this classic action film that offers adrenaline-pumping flight sequences watch the second movie that came out last year too.
